The Office of Emergency Manangement is responsible for coordinating efforts of multiple agencies including governmental, volunteer fire departments, and private in emergency prepardness, disaster planning, and disaster response.

The Fire Service Coordinator is appointed by the Perry County Judge. The Fire Coordinator works closely with the local volunteer fire departments in Perry County and helps with any fire related problems that might arise. The Fire Service Coordinator assists the local fire departments in completing their requirements of Act 833, attends the County Fire Chiefs Association meetings, and is there to help build good community relations. In addition to aiding the local volunteer fire departments, the Fire Service Coordinator works closely with the Perry County Office of Emergency Management.

who all do a great job.
